PROVIDING SHORT-MEDIUM TERM SUPPORTED LODGINGS TO HOMELESS YOUNG PEOPLE IN CHORLEY, SOUTH-RIBBLE, PRESTON AND WEST LANCS

Update Statistics...

The period from April to October has been rather mixed. We have had two young people on extended emergency due to families unavailable on Supported Lodgings. However on a brighter note, eight families provided emergency accommodation in this period -its great to have so many but we still need more. The two young people on the Supported lodgings Scheme have been able to move on, one having been reunited with his mother and the other now living in his own flat. At the moment we have one young man on the scheme with the possibility of two more moving in with families in the next week or so.

Prayer Needs

Please pray for...

  • More accommodation providers for both Projects, but especially for emergency.
  • The host families, that they would be blessed and encouraged by the work they are doing.
  • The Young people, that they would feel secure, Comfortable and cared for.
  • The staff, that God would keep them safe and give them guidance and wisdom in the work they do.
  • The staff and young people at Bay 6 and Haddon Lodge
  • People will come forward from local churches to become a Trustee of S.LE.A.P.
  • The current level of funding is maintained to ensure we can continue to support the homeless young people of South Ribble.
