About us

SLEAP is a local charity that works with 16-25 year olds in South Ribble, Chorley and Preston to prevent homelessness and other issues and problems associated with it.

Most young people in this age group - as they are becoming independent young adults - have a network of support in their families and friends that help. They advice, coach and cheer them on as they take steps towards independence. However, this is not the case for everyone. Sometimes, for many different reasons, young people can find themselves unable to cope with the challenges life throws at them.

SLEAP works in partnership with young people to support them in a way that builds up their strengths and responds to identified needs.

As a local charity, we are all about the community and so there are always many ways in which people and organisations can get involved.
