Leyland Festival 2025

We will be celebrating 30 years of SLEAP at Leyland Festival on Saturday June 14th 2025.

'Give a teddy a new home' 

This is our fundraising slogan as we 'rehome' clean but preloved teddy bears through a tombola at our stall in the Festival ground in Worden Park on June 14th 2025. Our fun stall and parade celebrate '30 years of SLEAP fighting homelessness'. We will be pushing a very large bear sitting on a bed through Leyland in the Festival parade. We aim to sensitise and remind our local Leyland Community of the great need of local young homeless people. We offer longterm nuturing as well as providing a roof over heads. We are grateful for volunteers, fundraisers and local businesses as well as paid staff who help us to reach out and serve our homeless young people. 

How you can get involved

Consider volunteering or fundraising with us: Ask SLEAP staff questions on the day about SLEAP and how to help in the short or long term

Donate teddy bears through local schools or churches

Attend and buy teddy tombola tickets

Win and rehome a small, medium or large teddy bear. Every ticket buyer will get a special 30th SLEAP certificate
